I have long had an interest in funfairs. I started with photographing the transport used to move the rides around the countryside and then discovered on the internet sites which shared the same interest. I then started to photograph the rides as well as the transport and published these pictures on my own website.

I have now outgrown my original site and remembering what I have seen is becoming more difficult. In this new website I have compiled a database to help with identification of the pictures of rides and transport and to give others the opportunity to view what I have seen.

The source of material within this site is all my own. I have tried to make the list as comprehensive as possible although I still have a large amount of material to add. I will do this gradually, and news of my progress will be posted on my site news page.

I would be most grateful for any news of changes of ownership, so I can keep my list as up to date as possible. Please accept my apologies for any errors, omissions or mistakes.

The database lists travelling adult rides which are UK based. Not included are theme parks (which I will deal with separately), children's rides, sideshows, stalls, funhouses, mirror mazes and slips. I have included helter skelters. The database opens in alphabetical order of rides and can be sorted by ride owners surname, christian name or by ride name.
